Gardai appeal for witnesses to crash which left teenage boy in critical condition

Gardaí in Listowel are appealing for witnesses following a road accident which left a teenage boy seriously injured. garda-accident-390x285 The single vehicle collision happened in Tarbert at about half past 2 yesterday afternoon, when the motor bike being driven by the 16-year-old crashed at the Ferry Road. The boy, who’s believed to be from the Asdee area, was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel, and airlifted to Limerick University Hospital. He was later transferred to Cork University Hospital, where his condition is understood to be serious. The scene was examined by Garda forensic collision investigators and enquiries are ongoing.
