Funeral of Castlemaine woman who died in Kildare tragedy takes place this morning

Church candlesThe funeral of the Castlemaine woman who was found dead in her Kildare home earlier this week takes place this morning.

The bodies of Maureen Bradley nee O’Donoghue and her husband Colm were found in their home in Ashfield Park, Naas on Monday.

Post-mortem examinations revealed that Mrs. Bradley, who was in her mid-60s, died of a heart attack, while Mr Bradley, who was in his mid-70s and who had been ill for several years, died by suicide.

The funeral will take place after 10am mass in the Church of Our Lady and St. David to St Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.
