Funding of €729,000 for roads in south and west Kerry

Funding of almost three quarters of a million euro has been provided for the upgrading of roads in south and west Kerry. Roads in the Killorglin area are to benefit from investment of approximately €200,000 while a further €200,000 is being allocated to Kenmare. The Caherciveen area receives €105,000 with €230,000 going to roads in Castlegregory and Dingle. Fine Gael deputy Brendan Griffin has welcomed investment in footpaths at Castlegregory national school and GAA grounds. The funding is also welcomed by Independent Deputy Michael Healy Rae.
