Full IFA elections to be held this Spring

The Executive Board of the Irish Farmers’ Association  say they have a put a proposal to the farming group’s organising body which will allow for fresh elections to the board. IFA Farmers logo They’ve also agreed changes to their terms of office, reverting from a 4 year term to two 2-year terms. The board will put this to a full council meeting tomorrow, following months of controversy for the IFA after revelations regarding the pay levels of some executive council members.
