Fishing industry representatives want to see an investigation into irregularities in several ports including Dingle completed as soon as possible. A number of seizures were made in Dingle yesterday by fraud squad detectives as part of the operation. Factories, boats, co- ops and company offices in a number of ports along the coast were searched and a number of computers and documents seized. Jason Whelly of the Irish South and West Fish Producer`s Organisation says the allegations being investigated are far reaching and he called for a speedy conclusion to the matter.
