Former Kerry IFA Chairman considers run for president

A Kenmare farmer who is National Rural Development Chairperson of the Irish Farmers’ Association says he is definitely considering running for president of the organisation. IFA Farmers logo Flor McCarthy has held the role in the IFA for the past four years. He was also chair of the Kerry Branch of the IFA from 2000 to 2004. Mr McCarthy has revealed to Radio Kerry News that he is definitely considering running but hasn’t yet decided. Currently, Deputy IFA President Tim O’Leary is the one confirmed runner in the election.
