Former Kerry footballer, Patrick Curtin, has died. The Moyvane clubman suffered serious head injuries in a road crash Christmas week. The 26 year old was subsequently airlifted to Hospital in Miami where he passed away yesterday. Mr Curtin’s family had flown out to be with him over the last number of days. He had been in Central America working for Killarney crane container company Liebherr. The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the family. Patrick Curtin played full-forward for Kerry in 2012 and 2013, as well as representing his county at minor and U21 level.
