Retired Chief Superintendent Pat Sullivan today presented a cheque for €7,930 to Kerry Hospice Foundation at Kerry General Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit. The former Chief Superintendent retired from the force on January 22 – hosting a coffee morning event at Ballygarry House which also acted as a fundraiser for the foundation. Over 500 people attended the event facilitated by Pat and his wife Maura who is treasurer of the Tralee and Kerry Branch of the Hospice Foundation. Kerry Hospice Chair, Ted Moynihan accepted the cheque from the former Chief Superintendent who served 41 years as a member of An Garda Síochána.
