Fire victims say heartfelt thanks to the people of Kerry

creanThe Tralee family who lost their home and all their possessions in a fire the week before Christmas, say they’ve been ‘overwhelmed’ by the generous response from the people of Kerry. The home of Alan and Carol Crean of Ashe Hill,  was completely gutted by a fire which started adjacent to a workshop at the back of the house. The couple and their five children escaped uninjured, but lost all their possessions in the blaze. Donations of cash, clothes and toys from all over the county began pouring in almost immediately, while a fundraising event to help them rebuild their home, is being held at Ballygarry House Hotel this Saturday night. Alan Crean says he was shocked and humbled by the generosity of the people of the county: [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/18316/medium/”]
