Fifteen new jobs are being created in Kenmare by Starwood Hotel and Resorts. Interviews are currently taking place for the positions that will be based at the Kenmare Innovative Centre in Kilmurry and are expected to be up and running by the summer. The new jobs are in addition to a number of positions already filled at the company’s Kerry call centre and are in the reservations and customer service areas. The announcement has been welcomed by Deputy Michael Healy-Rae, who praised Sean Jones of the Kerry Innovation Centre for securing the new employer at his Kilmurry premises. He says the new jobs will create a financial off spin for the town.
