Fianna Fáil candidate claims Macroom Bypass could be delayed by funding cuts

It’s claimed that the Government has cut funding for the Macroom Bypass – a major project that would eliminate traffic snarl ups on the Killarney-Cork N22 road. Fianna Fáil general election candidate Aindrias Moynihan says the bypass received 3.8 million euro for funding in the New Year. Aindrias Moynihan He says this is a reduction on the amount of money the project received in 2014 and 2015. Cllr Moynihan, who’s a candidate in the Cork North-West constituency, claims the bypass is not a priority for the Government.
