Farmers warned not to exceed milk quota.

Farmers in the county will have to remain vigilant if they are not to face heavy fines for over production of their milk quota according to James Mc Carthy of the I.F.A. The Department of Agriculture and Kerry Co-Op have been warning farmers not to go exceed their quota this year. The end of March is the last month for farmers in Kerry to fill their milk requirement with some farmers already facing large super levy bills. Mr McCarthy is asking farmers in the county to watch their quota requirement.
