A group which supports families after fatal and non-fatal farm accidents is to be set up for the south west. 2014 was one of the worst years on record for farm accidents nationwide with 30 people killed. Embrace FARM, a voluntary bereavement organisation, is to offer its services to families in Kerry, Cork, West-Limerick, and South Tipperary. It organises bereavement support sessions and holds an annual remembrance service. The group will have a meeting in the Fitzgerald’s Vienna Woods Hotel, Cork on this Sunday at 8pm.
