The family of a Donegal man has been informed he did NOT die as a result of the Ebola virus. Dessie Quinn, a father of one in his early forties, became ill on his return from Sierra Leone. He was being treated for malaria. However, there were fears he had contracted Ebola. But tests carried out on his body have ruled it out. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
