Drugs worth €350,000 have been seized in North Kerry.
A man in his 60s was arrested during the planned search of a house in Moyvane.
Gardaí investigating the sale and supply of controlled drugs in Kerry have seized cannabis plants and dried cannabis in what’s described as a sophisticated grow house.
Listowel gardaí carried out a planned search of a house in Moyvane yesterday afternoon, and found cannabis plants in various stages of maturity and dried cannabis.
The drugs have a combined estimated street value of up to €350,000, pending analysis.
The scene has been preserved and is being technically examined.
A man in his 60s was arrested at the scene and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Listowel Garda Station.
He has since been released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
