A Dublin couple – who’ve been evicted from their rented home – say they’ve been failed by the State. Martin and Violet Coyne The house on Luttrel Drive in Carpenterstown in west Dublin was repossessed by officials from the Sheriff’s office this morning. Receivers KPMG were appointed by ACC Bank to sell the property after the landlord s company went into receivership. Violet and Martin Coyne had to leave the house – they’ve rented for 15 years – in their night clothes and without shoes. The pensioners – who say they can’t find alternative accommodation – are appearing in court today for failing to vacate the property earlier.
