Representatives from the Department of Education, the Kerry Education Service and the Gaelscoil in Listowel are to hold discussions on the future options for the Irish language primary school. The school had hoped to move the space at the back of Listowel Community College. However, a request for a separate entrance to the rear of the school has been rejected by planners. Chief Executive of the Kerry Education Service Barney o Reilly says they will hold talks with the Department and the Gaelscoil today on the building works required for the move.
