The newly refurbished Dingle Mara Beo is being officially opened today. Minister John O Donoghue is performing the ceremony which comes just weeks after a major water feature at the centre was badly damaged by vandals. The feature which had just been put in place 2 weeks before the attack cost over 10 thousand euro to repair and the original sculptors had to be brought over from England for the work.Meanwhile the centre is today reporting the discovery of several different species of giant deep sea prawns off the Kerry coast. Kevin Flannery is now to send the rare red prawns to the natural history museum where they will be preserved and analysed.
