6pm – A campaign to save rural development partnerships in Kerry is underway.  More than 70 people attended a public meeting in Killorglin last week and further meetings are planned for Killarney, Cahirciveen and Kenmare.  The Government is proposing to bring the functions of development partnerships under the auspices of local authorities.  Cllr. Johnny Healy Rae, who attended last week’s meeting, says it won’t work. [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/2829/medium/”]Cllr Johnny Healy Rae
