The start date for Cromane Pier could be delayed for a number of weeks after a procedural problem with the planning application. Kerry County Council has to undergo the process of applying for planning from the beginning after the problem emerged. Site notices will be erected this week for the six million euro project. The council had hoped to begin work in March but this is now unlikely. The possibility of an objection cannot be ruled out. According to Emanon Scanlon from Kerry County Council they are not sure how long it will take The Board to make their decision.
