David Drumm has been released from custody after his 150,000 euro bail package was approved. The DPP has directed that the former CEO of Anglo Irish Bank be tried before a judge and jury on allegations of financial wrongdoing. He’s going to live at an address in Skerries, Co. Dublin and will have to sign on twice daily at his local Garda station. Mr. Drumm is facing 33 charges arising from his final years as head of Anglo Irish Bank including forgery, false accounting and conspiracy to defraud. He’s due back in court next month.
