Legendary Irish country singer Daniel O’Donnell will serenade this year’s winning Rose of Tralee in the Dome as she is being crowned. Earlier this year’s 32 contestants have met with Rose of Tralee presenter Dáithi Ó Sé in Dublin. The group of hopefuls met the west Kerry man, who will host the live television selection nights for the sixth time, in RTE studios in Donnybrook. The women are now off to the Barretstown camp for seriously ill children based in Kildare before continuing on their tour of Ireland to Leitrim. The festival runs from Friday to next Tuesday when the new Rose of Tralee will be crowned.
