Criticism of Government for lack of bus service to Gael Scoil

Government Departments have been slammed for failing to provide a public bus service for pupils attending a Gael Scoil in West Kerry. Tim Mansell of the Parents Council in Cloghane National School says if children wish to avail of public transport they are forced to attend Castlegregory National School which is eight miles away. The lack of a bus service to the school has led to loss of a third teacher in 2003 and the numbers attending the school have dropped to 46. Tim Mansell says Government Departments need to rectify the situation.
