The Commercial Court is due to hear arguments today about whether the realignment of the main road on the Dingle Peninsula can proceed as planned. The hearing is to establish if An Taisce will be granted permission to appeal a ruling relating to the N86 scheme. It seeks to straighten and improve the road from Dingle to Annascaul and from Gortbreagoge to Camp. In October, Mr Justice Robert Haughton dismissed the legal challenge taken by An Taisce at the High Court. A hearing relating to an appeal was due to take place last month but was adjourned until today.
