A Kerry councillor has warned of the dangers of sharing information on social media. Independent councillor Danny Healy-Rae says while Facebook has many positive aspects, careless use of the social networking site could assist criminals carrying out robberies. He also claims it causes people to lose out on employment opportunities because of information they share that’s easily accessible by the public or future employers. He highlighted the issue at the December meeting of Kerry County Council.
