Councillor calls for county-wise assessment of bridges

A bridge – which has been described as the gateway to South Kerry – needs urgent assessment to prolong its lifespan. Cllr Michael Cahill That’s according to Kerry County Councillor Michael Cahill who is calling for a county wide plan of action in relation to Kerry’s bridges. The 120 metre limestone Laune Bridge in Killorglin is currently under assessment by Transport Infrastructure Ireland amid fears of subsidence.
