Council issue caution as Storm Clodagh hits Kerry

Redbull StormchaseMotorists and cyclists are being urged by Kerry County Council to take extra precautions as Storm Clodagh hammers Kerry. Clodagh is set to bring winds of up to 130 kilometres per hour to Ireland today. An orange warning is in place until three o’clock this afternoon. These storm conditions may result in a risk of damage or injury from falling trees or flying debris. All unnecessary travel should be avoided if possible. Coastal areas are most at risk and the Council advises everyone to stay away from coastlines and exposed areas during this period. Meteorologist David Rogers says it’s important people heading out on the roads take precautions: [audio_player src=””]
