Cycling and walking loops should be developed in the mid-Kerry area to complement the development of the south Kerry greenway. That’s according to Fianna Fáil councillor Norma Moriarty who said there was huge potential for such looped routes to enhance the local tourism project. Party colleague, Michael O’Shea said walking tourism was now a huge part of the local economy. Kerry County Council said it was their aim to continue to develop such attractions in conjunction with the South Kerry Development Partnership.
