Cork man charged with the murder of his mother

A 25-year old man has been charged with the murder of his mother in Cork city earlier this week. Paul Horgan of Murmont Avenue, Montenotte has been remanded in custody for a week. Garda Mark Durkan told the court that Paul Horgan – who appeared in court this morning wearing a white shirt and jeans – was arrested at Murmont Avenue last Monday morning and taken to Mayfield Garda Station.
