A combination of incineration, recycling and landfill are the way forward to successfully dispose of the county’s waste according to Kerry County Council. Environmental awareness officer with the council says that modern incinerators are a proven method of waste disposal and do not cause the huge levels of pollution that were once associated with them. Michael O Coilean says the most important action in minimising the waste we produce.
