Cllr says roads on Cork side of county bounds not adequately salted

A Kerry councillor has called on Cork County Council to do more to treat icy roads near the county bounds. County Bounds covered in snow and ice - picture courtesy of John Delea Cllr Danny Healy-Rae says that roads on the Kerry side of the county boundary are being adequately treated but he says the same can’t be said for the Cork side. A spokesperson for Cork County Council says that all national routes including the Killarney-Cork road are salted during icy conditions.
