Concerns have been raised about the external insulation used in retrofitting older social housing in Kerry.
Sinn Fein Cllr Toireasa Ferris is raising the matter at today’s monthly meeting of Kerry County Council.
It comes in the wake of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire in London; the official death toll of 79 is expected to rise.
Investigations are continuing into the fire amid serious concerns that external cladding on the building may have contributed to the rapid spread of the blaze.
