People around the world will soon be able to chart their family history in Kerry via the internet. Over half a million church records of baptisms, marriages and deaths in the Kerry Diocese will be available to people at the click of a button. The database also includes the Beara Peninsula and parts of North Cork.The work, in conjunction with Fas, is said to be at an advanced stage. The database is located in the Kerry Genealogical Research Centre, St Brendan`s College, Killarney. Records go back as far as the seventeen fifties and provide valuable information for researchers.
