The Charlie Chaplin Film Festival is taking place in Waterville this weekend. This year the festival is aiming to enter the Guinness Book of Records for the most Charlie Chaplin look-alikes in one location. The record attempt takes place at noon in Waterville. Other events include screenings, workshops, music and Charlie Chaplin themed street entertainment. Norma Moriarty, one of the organisers of the world record attempt is asking people to bring their bowler hats and canes to commemorate one of the Waterville’s most famous visitors.
