Cases against a group of people charged in connection with an incident of public disorder in Killarney have been adjourned. All dispute and deny any wrongdoing. It’s alleged a number of gardai were assaulted during the incident which took place in the Ballyspillane Estate, Killarney on December 1st and 2nd. 19 year old Neil O’Mahony of 178 Ballyspillane, 21 year old Stephanie McCarthy and 18 year old Denis McCarthy of 180 Ballyspillane are charged with public order and violent disorder offences. They are due back in Killarney District Court on April 5th. Another accused 20 year old Mark O’Callaghan of 126 Killeen Wood, Tralee consented to a further remand in custody and is due back before the court on March 1st for service of the book of evidence. Judge James O’Connor said he may extend time for the book on that date.
