A fresh campaign is underway to save a bus service in the county after Bus Eireann confirmed it’s ended the weekly service from Annascaul to Tralee. The service travelling to Tralee via Castlemaine catered mainly for older people and those without private transport. Yesterday, a frequent user of the Kerry flyer told Radio Kerry she’s starting a petition to keep it going as social economy cuts threaten its future.
