Assistive Technology has to potential to transform lives – however it needs to be properly resourced.
That’s according to National Manager of Assistive Technology Training Service at Enable Ireland Siobhán Long who says there is a need to lobby for adequete Government funding.
A recent conference on Assistive Technolgy in Tralee saw users as young as 18 months utilise revolutionary life aids such as eye-gaze technology.
