Calls on Government to confirm their position on hotel group

A Kerry South Senator has called on the Government to confirm their position on the Great Southern Hotel group and its future. There have been several reports of trading losses at the hotel group over the last number of months. The board of the Dublin Airport Authority has agreed to sell the hotel group.Senator Paul Coughlan says the Chairman of the Dublin Airport Authority has spoken on many occasions about his desire to exit loss making business. The Fine Gael Senator says the future of staff at the Great Southern in Killarney and Parknacilla in Kenmare is uncertain. He says the Government must make their position clear.
