Calls for Minister for the Marine to intervene in Dingle row

There`s been a call for The Minister for the Marine to intervene in a row between Dingle fishermen and the harbour commissioners. The boatmen are reacting angrily to a proposal to increase harbour dues. They are calling for the resignation of the harbour board members, questioning how their funds are spent. A letter signed by 26 skippers has been sent to Minister Of State at The Department of the Marine Pat The Cope Gallagher. Lorcain O Cinneide says the fishing industry is suffering and the harbour authority must take a more supportive role towards fishermen.
