A Tralee shop owner believes chewing gum should be banned from the town or an incentive offered to traders not to sell the product. John Walsh says the Council spends considerable time and money on removing chewing gum from the streets. He believes the amount of chewing gum on the streets could be reduced by 80 percent if you make it difficult to buy in the town. Mr. Walsh is calling on the Council to take action.
