A call has been made for 24 hour ambulance drivers in Killarney. Councillor Nial Botty O Callaghan is to raise the issue at the next Killarney Town Council meeting. At present there is only one night at week in which a 24 hour service is available, with calls outs having to be made to drivers after 9 o clock every other night. Assistant Branch Secretary for Siptu Ted Kenny says he is confident that there will be 24 hour service in place by Janurary.
