A Kerry County Councillor has called for a school warden and a traffic warden to be provided in Castleisland. The council told Cllr Bobby O’Connell a review of staffing is currently underway for all the municipal districts in the county and the request will be looked at as part of that. Meanwhile, Cllr O’Connell also called for amber flashing warning lights to be provided for the approach roads to Currow National School. The council said electronic speed indicator lights were to be erected in the coming weeks on the approach to the school and community centre.
