Bryan Cooper To Return From Injury This Weekend

Kerry’s Bryan Cooper has confirmed he will return from injury this weekend.

It had been thought Cooper was in danger of missing next month’s Cheltenham festival after suffering a fractured pelvis at Punchestown just six weeks ago.

However the 24 year old says he is fit and ready to return to action, starting at Gowran Park on Saturday and Navan on Sunday.

Cheltenham Festival Foxhunter hopeful Black Thunder is heading for Kelso Racecourse tomorrow chasing the win or second place that would secure his place at the Festival.

Gordon Elliott is expecting to saddle at least 5 runners in this year’s Randon Health Grand National at Aintree on April 8th.

Outlander was given top weight for the race but Elliott has already confirmed he won’t be among the 40 starters for the world most famous steeeplechase.

Elliot who won the race in 2007 spoke to Rupert Bell about his possible runners for this year’s renewal……….
