Breakthrough may be on the cards in Greek debt crisis

The Taoiseach says he hopes progress on Greece can be made in a teleconference of Eurozone finance ministers this afternoon (4:30pm). Greece It comes as the Greek Prime Minister appears to have caved – saying Athens will now accept most of the bailout demands from Troika creditors – with some minor changes. But Germany seems set to block any deal until after Sunday’s referendum – unless Greece decides to cancel the vote.
