Body found in search for missing Lixnaw man

The body of a man has been recovered from the River Feale in the last hour.


The man, who has not yet been identified, was found during the search for seventy-year-old farmer Jim Keane from Lixnaw, who’s been missing since Monday night.
A spokesman for Valentia Coastguard said the man’s body was recovered just before five o’clock this evening, in the townland of Curraghcroneen, along the River Feale.
The discovery was made by members of the Mallow Search and Rescue Unit, along with the Ballybunion Coastguard Unit.
He has not yet been identified.
