It’s believed a woman found murdered in Belfast yesterday was originally from the county. A murder inquiry has been launched following the discovery of the body in the north of the city. The PSNI have not yet released the woman’s name but it is believed she came from the Tralee area. The body of the 45-year-old was found yesterday morning after police were called to a house in Brookville Court in the Waterworks area of the city. A man and a woman were subsequently arrested and remain in police custody. A PSNI spokesperson says it’s expected the woman’s name will be released later this afternoon. Results of the post-mortem are also expected later.
