The average rent in Kerry has increased by almost 6% in a year.
That’s according to property website Daft.ie which has published average rental data for the third quarter of 2016.
The average rent in the county now stands at €659 a month; an increase of a fifth since the property crash.
It is also an increase of over two per cent compared to the previous quarter.
The average rent for a five-bed house has the largest increase in a year by over nine per cent in a year to just over 760 euro (€762).
Renting a four-bed house now costs on average just under 680 euro (€679), a three-bed house has an average rent of €624 and a two-bed house comes in just under 520 euro (€517).
