Arsenal have won the first piece of silverware of the new English league season. They’ve beaten Manchester City 3-0 at Wembley to claim the Community Shield. Laurence Mora reports [audio_player src=””] Legia Warsaw have written to Celtic requesting a one-off game to settle their disputed Champions League qualifier. The Polish champions beat Celtic 6-1 on aggregate, but fielded an inelgible player four minutes from the end of the second leg, resulting in that game – and ultimately the tie – being forfeited in Celtic’s favour. Legia co-owner Dariusz Mioduski has asked Celtic to “act in the spirit of the game and the rules of fair play” and agree to a one-off, winner-takes-all game in either Glasgow or Warsaw. In the Scottish Premiership, they’ve finished Aberdeen 0 Dundee United 3 and Ross County 1 St. Johnstone 2.
