The winger’s 75-million euro move from Real Madrid is set to be formally announced this evening. Frank Lampard has played his final game for England. He’s announced his international retirement at the age of 36. The New York City midfielder, who’s on loan at Manchester City, follows the lead of Steven Gerrard. In the FAI Ford Cup quarter final draw, Shamrock Rovers will take on Dundalk, last year’s beaten finalists Drogheda face Derry City, Avondale or St. Michael’s take on Finn Harps and Shelbourne or St Pats will host Bohemians. Those quarter final ties will be played on the weekend ending on September 14th.
