Annual Slowfood Weekend set for end of March.

The Annual Slowfood Weekend in Kenmare has been set for the end of March. The weekend is a celebration of local food produce and will include a reception in the Park Hotel and themed dinners in many of the town`s restaurants. Food producers from West Cork and Kerry will also have the opportunity to showcase their work from wild smoked salmon, Kerry black beef to raw milk cheeses, ice cream and pates.This years event has been organised on an A la Carte basis so Slowfood delegates can pick and choose what they want to attend. In addition some of the restaurants in the town are offering special menus and discounts to slow food members.
